Over multiple academic years, Dr. Damm has demonstrated sustained and wide-ranging college service through leadership, collaboration, and commitment to institutional improvement. She has served in key roles such as Department Chair and Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) Coordinator, guiding assessment practices and supporting departmental effectiveness. Her ongoing participation on the Educational Planning & Assessment Committee, Online Education Committee, and Saddleback College Aging Studies Advisory Board reflects consistent engagement with academic planning, online pedagogy, and community-connected learning.
Dr. Damm has contributed significantly to faculty hiring and evaluation, including service on tenure review and multiple hiring committees, as well as participation as a POCR and Online Addenda Reviewer, ensuring high standards for online instruction. She has also advanced equity and professional development across the college—facilitating the President’s Equity Read (The End of Bias) and presenting for the Faculty Association’s “How to Apply for a Full-Time Faculty Job” workshop. Additionally, she has represented Psychology in statewide Common Course Numbering Convenings, supporting articulation and alignment of curriculum. Her 2023–2024 sabbatical further reflects ongoing professional growth and scholarly engagement that enriches her service to the college.
